I truly don't have time or space to write about this book. To anyone who has "lost" and has to either find their way or rebuild their lives this book can be a tool, a resource. I am not a hiker as I have never had the opportunity but I am a runner and a cyclist. I "got" the concept and metaphor of the hike.
I love this writer, he is a Jesuit priest. For all those people that think there can not be humor in religion, please read this book. I have read several of his books and he is a very personable writer. I still have a list of books he has written that I want to read.
I read somewhere where Mr. Patterson said something about this book and that he was "knowing what women want" To me this was a dime store novel. Maybe it is me, but it was just alright.
